My subject matter derives from my immediate surroundings and my observations. My work is voyeuristic with a sense that the viewer may be interrupting a private moment. A lot of my work is about loneliness and feelings of being overwhelmed.

My theatre background has lent itself to my work in an obvious way.  I prefer to work 3 Dimensionally and my work has a ‘theatre set’ quality to them. I am also used to working with scale models and always consider the lighting. I hope my work asks the question, ‘what happens next?

I like to work in an evolutionary way, testing ideas, photographing them, playing around with materials and then testing again. I mainly work with packaging, text, photos, postcards and other found or collected objects.
