At present I am increasingly interested in the manipulation of material into a single piece form, using no connections. My work is more about the joy of making/forming objects and the pleasure of the form itself, rather than creating an explanatory object connected to a chosen theme, meaning or subject. I prefer to explore the shapes own organic growth and create a natural movement and rhythm in the piece, which is pleasing to the eye, letting the materials themselves dictate the direction in which to go, and allowing each piece to evolve gradually and of its own accord.
